Is the sterile yet sweet terminology that the State of Oregon has given my applications. I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that working for the government may be the only viable employment available to a non-professional as myself. Salem has very little industry and although the jobs I have held here have been good they have not been adequate for our families needs. So I broke down and started filling out my PD100. That form alone takes some serious research to fill out completely. Last week I turned in four applications and today I received news that I qualified for each position. I'm sure there are many applicants but it is encouraging to receive positive news.
