Eliza's First Hike

One of Matt and I's goals for our "new" life is to go on a hike once a month together like we did in our dating days. So dispite the forcast of rain we headed out to the coast Saturday for our first family hike. We hope to head up to the Gorge but clear skies are best for a gorge hike. We went to Cape Lookout which is only a 4.8 mile hike, not very strenuous and good views. The weather was perfect on our way out and we could see along the coastline. The rain didn't start until the hike back. Eliza did great and Matt and I really enjoyed being out in nature again. She is a true Oregonian in the making!
